GTGlobe Industries plumbing products are manufactured under strict conditions and certifications, including ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and NSF (National Sanitation Foundation.) All GTGlobe Industries products are certified CSA (Canadian Standard Association,) including the certifications B137.10 and B137.5.

All the GTGlobe Industries products are UPC (Uniformed Plumbing Code) certified and approved by IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.)

25 YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, GTPEX® and GTPEX-R (collectively the “Products”) are warranted only to the owner of the real property when installed by a licensed plumber, who purchased and installed Products as per the applicable plumbing code in the territory where it has been purchased.

The GTPEX® non-barrier and GTPEX-R barrier cross-linked polyethylene tubing (PEX) are warranted for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of purchase on the defects in material, under normal condition of use. It is expressly understood that failure as a result of heat transfer fluid freezing within the pipes does not constitute a defect in material or workmanship and shall not be covered by this warranty. In order for this Limited Warranty to apply, the Products must be installed by a licensed professional contractor in accordance with GTGlobe installation instructions as outlined in the GTGlobe PEX installation Technical Manual, meeting all applicable code requirements and good plumbing practices. This warranty for GTGlobe commercialised manifolds and fittings expires five (5) years from the date of manufacturing. All other GTGlobe accessories are warranted for one year after the date of purchase.

FAILURE TO INSTALL PRODUCTS ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTION WILL VOID ALL APPLICABLE WARRANTIES AND MAY RESULT IN SEVERE WATER DAMAGE. See our free GTGlobe PEX Installation Technical Manual for instructions. For your copy, please call your local distributor or representative. Under this warranty, you only have a right to reimbursement if the failure of leak is a direct result of a manufacturing defect in the Products covered by this warranty and occurs during the warranty period. This warranty does not apply and you do not have a right of reimbursement if the failure or resulting damage is caused by:

1. Freezing during or after the installation or inadequate freeze protection;
2. Damage due to tear, breaks, or other external damages before, during, or after installation;
3. Components not manufactured or sold by GTGlobe;
4. Exposure to temperatures and pressures beyond the specified range for Products as specified on the Product or in the GTGlobe PEX Installation Manual;
5. Exposure to harmful, unauthorized, or unanticipated chemicals or substances or corrosive water conditions;
6. Exposure to ultraviolet light;
7. Damage or wear from abnormal operating conditions, accident, abuse, misuse, or unauthorized alterations or repair.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR OBLIGATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, GTGLOBE DOES NOT GUARANTEE OR IN ANY WAY WARRANT THE INSTALLATION OF PRODUCTS DUE TO THE WIDE VARIANCE IN INSTALLATION PRACTICES AND OTHER CONDITIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

It is expressly agreed that the exclusive remedies under this limited warranty shall be at the option of GTGlobe to issue a refund, repair or replace any article which is proven to be defective. Allowances made to customers for transportation, labour, repairs or any other work, are at the sole discretion of GTGlobe, and must be authorized in writing, in advance by GTGlobe.

If you believe that a Product fails to meet the above Limited Warranty, you should notify us in writing within 30 days following the failure and prior to expiration of the applicable warranty period set forth above, at the following address:

Notification should include a description of the Product, the failed part, model number (if available) date of purchase and/or date of installation, and how the Product fails to meet the above warranty. Upon receipt of a written claim under this Limited Warranty during the first ten (10) years following the date of purchase and evidence/identification of the date of manufacture of Product, and after inspection by an authorized GTGlobe representative and determination of a manufacturing defect, GTGlobe will reimburse the real property owner for reasonable repair or replacement charges, to include drywall and painting as well as damages to real property and the premises within which the Product is installed, resulting from the failure or leak. All Products believed to be defective must be made available to GTGlobe for testing and determination of cause. This warranty is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the Product proven defective, installation included. At our option, and in our sole discretion, we will either repair or replace the Product with a GTGlobe Product of the same or similar type, size, and like quantity. Except as specified above, we will not pay any costs (labour or otherwise) associated with removing previously installed Product(s), installing replacement Product(s), or transportation or return of a Product. If, as determined by GTGlobe, repair or replacement of the Product is not commercially practicable, or cannot be completed in a timely manner, we may refund the ultimate purchase price paid for the Product upon verification by providing a copy of your purchase order, invoice, receipt, or bill of sale. This limited warranty applies only if the articles sold hereunder are: (a) selected, designed, and installed according to the current installation instructions provided by GTGlobe (b) are not exposed to temperatures and/or pressures that exceed the limitations printed on the tubing, (c) remain in their originally installed location, (d) are connected to proper water and power supplies (e) show evidence of tampering, mishandling, neglect, or accidental damage (f) are installed in accordance with applicable building mechanical, plumbing and electrical requirements. Terms and Conditions of replacements and refunds are subject to the Limited Warranty policy period as specified in this Limited Warranty Policy.

GTGLOBE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER LOSS OR EXPENSE(S) NOT SPECICALLY DESCRIBED ABOVE, AND DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES.
